Celebrating National Donate Life Month
In recognition of the life-saving power of organ donation, NewYork-Presbyterian honors organ donors and recipients.
More than 105,000 people are in need of an organ transplant in the United States, according to the United Network for Organ Sharing, but one donor can make a huge impact. A single donor can save up to eight lives, and a living donor has the power to potentially help thousands of individuals on the transplant waiting list. In recognition of National Donate Life Month, we celebrate organ donors and recipients.
