NewYork-Presbyterian Welcomes New Year Babies

These adorable bundles of joy were some of the first babies born in 2024.

We’re excited to celebrate some of the very first babies born at NewYork-Presbyterian in 2024!

At 12:03 a.m., just after the ball dropped in Times Square, Ari was welcomed into the world by parents Jaime and Daniel at NewYork-Presbyterian Alexandra Cohen Hospital for Women and Newborns. He weighed in at 9 pounds, 8 ounces.

Just a little later, at 12:28 a.m., mom Dileysi gave birth to Isabel at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center. The baby girl weighed 6 pounds, 14.4 ounces.

North of the city, at NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital, Adrien was born at 12:47 a.m. and mom Alaysia could not be more thrilled.

Downtown at NewYork-Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital, Amaya was born at 1:45 a.m. to proud parents Richa and Arindam.

Across the river at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, Amalia was born to beaming mom Sevil and dad Eldar at 1:56 a.m.

And back uptown, the entire team at NewYork-Presbyterian Allen Hospital celebrated with mom Hayley when she gave birth to baby Yuri at 3:07 a.m.
