Dr. Terrence Sacchi has been named chief of clinical strategy and innovation in the Department of Medicine at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.
“We are excited to have Dr. Sacchi lead clinical strategy and innovation at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital,” said Robert Guimento, president of NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. “Dr. Sacchi is a skilled leader and compassionate physician who is committed to providing our patients with the highest quality care. Under his leadership, we look forward to making care more accessible for our patients at our new multidisciplinary clinics.”
In his new role, Dr. Sacchi will continue to collaborate with key health care staff within the hospital and build relationships with community physicians to interconnect care and integrate them into the multidisciplinary process, as well as continue working in the division of cardiology at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.
“Dr. Sacchi has deep roots in the Brooklyn community, and is the perfect fit to spearhead this important endeavor for our institution and our patients,” said Dr. Purvi Shah, chief medical officer at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. “He will be pivotal in shaping the future of care at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital to better serve the needs of our patients and community.”

Dr. Sacchi received his medical degree from Albany Medical College. He completed his internship and residency at St. Vincent’s Hospital and Medical Center, and his fellowship at Georgetown University Hospital.
